OK so I’ve been absolutely OBSESSED with this game lately – Blue Prince. It dropped back in March and I’m still finding new stuff in it months later. If you’re into story games with actual choices that matter, you gotta check this out.
Overview Blue Prince v1.02 Free Download For Pc
Some Korean indie team called Dogubomb made it. Never heard of them before but apparently the main guy, Kim Joon, used to make mobile games? You’d never guess it from Blue Prince though – this thing is NOTHING like a mobile game.

What’s it all about?
So you play as this young prince (duh lol) in some fantasy kingdom. But it’s not your typical fantasy story with dragons and wizards and stuff. It’s way more about politics and relationships. Kinda reminds me of Game of Thrones minus all the gratuitous violence.
The artwork is GORGEOUS. Hand-drawn stuff that looks like nothing else I’ve seen in games. Reminds me a bit of old Korean paintings but with modern touches. Apparently they drew over 2,000 illustrations for this thing!
Why I can’t put it down
I’ve played through it twice now and got totally different endings. My first run, I tried to be all diplomatic and careful, and ended up with a peaceful but kinda unsatisfying ending. Second time I was way more aggressive and ambitious and half the characters ended up hating me but I unified the kingdom lol.

The game’s split into 3 acts. First one’s a bit slow honestly – lots of meeting characters and learning the ropes. Act 2 is where stuff hits the fan with this big political crisis. That’s where the game really shines. Act 3 wraps everything up based on your choices.
There’s some issues though. Act 2 drags in parts, and I hit a couple bugs where dialogue options didn’t work right. Had to reload an old save. Speaking of saves – SAVE OFTEN. Some choices lock you into paths with no warning.
Where to get it
It’s on Steam for like $25 I think? Also on GOG if you hate DRM. GOG version comes with the soundtrack which is pretty sweet actually – got this chill orchestral vibe with some traditional Korean instruments mixed in.
DO NOT waste your time with sketchy download sites. My buddy tried that and got some malware nightmare plus a broken version missing half the dialogue. Just buy it legit – it’s worth the money and the devs deserve support for making something this unique.
Community stuff
There’s a pretty active Discord – I lurk there sometimes. Devs show up weekly to chat and they’re super responsive to bug reports. There’s already a decent modding scene starting up. Someone’s making a mod that adds a whole new ending path!
Reddit’s got a small but active community too, with some amazing fan art. Worth checking out after you’ve played to avoid spoilers.

Final thoughts
Look, if you’re into story games with actual depth, genuine consequences, and gorgeous art, Blue Prince is a no-brainer. It’s not perfect – could use more polish in spots – but it’s one of the most memorable games I’ve played this year.
The v1.02 patch fixed most of the early bugs, and they’re supposedly working on expansion content for later this year. Plus console versions are coming eventually, but PC is the way to go for now.

Anyway, that’s my take. Try it if you’re into narrative adventures with actual substance. Skip it if you need constant action or hate reading dialogue.
